The following policies apply to both the Nehemiah Brainerd House, the Carriage House, and the Laurel Cottage guest house:
To Reserve Your Stay: A deposit of the one night rate plus tax is required in advance. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover are accepted. Personal checks are accepted two weeks prior to arrival. Travelers Checks and Cash are also accepted.
Cancellation Policy: We are a small business and rely on every reservation. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your reservation, a cancellation fee of $25 will apply provided you cancel a minimum of seven days prior to your scheduled check in date. The full one night rate will apply for cancellations made less than seven days prior to scheduled check date,
Full Payment is expected upon check-in.
Rates are subject to Connecticut State Hotel Tax.
A two-night minimum stay is required in the Laurel Cottage and the Carriage House.
A two night minimum stay may be required in the main house on Holiday Weekends.
Check in is between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Late or early arrivals will be accommodated with prior notice.
Check out is at 11:00 a.m. Guests are required to vacate their room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure to avoid incurring an additional charge.
We are a NON SMOKING facility. Guests found smoking inside The Nehemiah Brainerd House or the Laurel Cottage will be charged a $250.00 fee for cleaning and loss of use of the room.
We are unable to accommodate children under 13.
Pets are not permitted.
