A cozy double brass bed in the Great Room and a luxurious pull out queen size bed on the all season porch accommodates four comfortably and two beautifully. And the views from the porch windows across the Connecticut River are spectacular in any season.
Whether for a romantic honeymoon stay, a second honeymoon or just a secluded getaway, the Laurel Cottage is a fabulous private retreat filled with antiques, reproduction William Morris wallpapers, a working gas fireplace, flat screen HD TV, central heat and air conditioning, and full wireless internet access. A gorgeous stone patio overlooks the Connecticut River and Haddam Meadows State Park and offers a gas grill built into a stone fireplace allowing cooking, dining, and relaxing outside.
The Laurel Cottage is a self-contained guest house. You will find complimentary coffee, tea, and basic breakfast fare in the cottage kitchen upon arrival for your convenience.
The rate is $275 per night for single or double occupancy. Three to four guests is $300 per night.
The Laurel Cottage can accommodate a maximum of four guests per night. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Smoking is prohibited, please. No children under 13 allowed.
